I was advised that this is on a recall notice, funny how I had to contact them to get it done, they also did a complementary inspection of the veh and said all was good, I added good as it is only 2 months old Took my 21 F Pace in to my dealer today to have the Pivi Pro updated so I can log onĪll went well took about a hour to do,all seems to be working now. now IN THE 1960 ,s I trained AS A Jaguar MACANIC WITH Henley's near Park Royal London, and to me the first service, that only consists of oil change and filter I think that is a very steep price,I could do this myself which I will after the 3 year warranty runs out, but there is no way of keeping the service history upto date as it is now controlled on line.another smart move to generate money or am I just thinking to much, but either way if they know of the problem why are the not fixing it at time of build ?Īs a side note I asked how much a first service would be on mine in March 2023 (at todays prices) they quoted me £594.00 including parts and VAT. and yes they are still sending them out needing the update, my question here is are they doing this to save money as no one can use the Jaguar internet connection so therefore cutting down costs, is a few hundred thousand are not connected. My mate took delivery of his New 21 F Pace last Friday. I told them that it was not due a service (2 year) until March 2023 by which time the in connect contract would have exspired (12 months from purchase) to which they had no answer. I also asked them why I had not been informed of this update, to which they replied it would have been done on the next service!!! They said I could wait whilst they carried out the update and it would be about 2 hours. Today I have been in touch with Jaguar (My dealer Jardine Slough) to see about getting an update to my pivi pro, the service department said that they had a service bulletin issued for my car and yes it is due a Pivi Pro update
